Absolute gem of the beaten path. Pizza was incredible and staff were so friendly. Nice outdoor seating in a quiet little neighborhood.

Firstly there was no pasta on the menu, so we asked the chef, a very traditional Italian guy, obviously with the philosophy of “I’ll do whatever I can for my customers” because when I asked, his answer was “not on the menu but of course I can make you pasta, fresh homemade pasta! With vongole (clams) or with meat and tomato sauce?”
We ordered one of each, and were blown away by the deliciousness that was put in front of us! We ate it up and wanted more!
So my wife asked if there was any other options, he had a little think and then suggested “I can quickly make you a portion of carbonara to share”
Next minute he’s inside, we hear him mixing the eggs and pecorino, the smell of guanciale frying filled the air, and a few minutes later he brings a portion of the most delicious carbonara ever!
To top it all off, they realised my wife was looking for a non alcoholic drink, more adventurous than sprite or whatever, so they made her a wonderfully refreshing mocktail on the spot without batting an eyelid. Amazing service!!
A little gem tucked away in the suburbs. We will definitely be back here many times, every time we are in Brussels we will come back!

Delicious truffle ravioli plat du jour bathed in a creamy sauce. Excellent house red wine. Bresaola second o with pizza strips etc. Extremely friendly and attentive service. A little noisy when full as a corner boutique/home style restaurant with just a few tables. Take-out handy for St Michel Hospital up the road. A real family atmosphere for many locals.
